Wednesdays, July 10-31 | Brattleboro, Vermont
Join us for a special 4-week summer Spanish class for beginners and “advanced beginner” students. We will be focusing on the language most used in daily conversation – in multiple tenses. The average person only uses about 300 different words a day and this course will get you on your way with these conversation basics. This class is designed for anyone who stumbles with basic Spanish no matter if you are brand new to the language or have been studying for years.
And don’t worry- this will look nothing like your high school language class (unless you were lucky enough to go to high school with a teacher who taught with “comprehensible input”). Your brain doesn’t learn how to speak by jamming it with vocab and grammar rules. Language acquisition is an unconscious process so the less you “work” the better! You just need to be comfortable and hear a TON of comprehensible language in order to let your brain do its thing. Want to learn more about this? Try a free class!
Does three hours sound like a long time? Don’t worry- the time will fly! We get you up and moving… we mix in tons of different activities so that by the end of class you can’t believe that it ended so quickly! Plus, you’ll be THINKING in Spanish by the end of the evening.
This class is taught by Elissa McLean- founder of Express Fluency. She’s moving to New York in August so if you’ve been wanting to take a class with her JULY is the time!

Are you a world language teacher?
We highly recommend participating in our classes as either a student (if you don’t speak Spanish) or as an observer (if you speak Spanish). You will observe countless techniques and strategies in comprehension-based teaching methods which you can immediately apply to your classroom. The instructor will also meet with you after class each day to answer questions. You can also get graduate-level university credits through the University of the Pacific when you take our classes.
