Description
Art & Conversation: Where Beauty Speaks and We Answer in French
(Intermediate/Advanced)
Instructor:
Alice Ayel
Thursdays
9–10am EST
May 7 – July 9, 2026
Each week, we stand before a masterpiece, and we respond in French.
This is not a lecture. It is an encounter: first silence, then careful observation, then the language of feeling, and finally substantive conversation about the artist, the historical moment, the human experience captured on canvas.
Vocabulary grows organically. Complex thoughts find expression naturally.
This class is a natural fit for seniors with a love of art and culture, Charlotte Mason homeschool families who already use picture study, and adult learners who want their French to carry real intellectual and aesthetic weight.
After each class: recorded sessions, downloadable materials with detailed painting descriptions, and resources to deepen your encounter with the art.For intermediate-advanced learners
60 minutes weekly.
Notebook, open eyes, open heart.
All sessions recorded.
Open to intermediate–advanced learners.
